Taormina Greek Theatre is an independent visitor guide to the Ancient Theatre of Taormina, the Teatro Antico di Taormina. We are not the theatre, the Parco Archeologico Naxos Taormina that manages it, its ticket office or a tour operator, and we do not speak for any of them. What we check before we recommend a ticket or tour
Most Taormina listings look alike in a search grid. We read each one for the details that change your visit:
- whether admission to the theatre is included, or whether the tour only walks past it;
- what “skip-the-line” means on that listing: a ready ticket that saves the ticket-office queue, or something more;
- whether the commentary is an audio guide on your phone or a live guide, and in which languages;
- where you meet, how long you spend inside, and what the cancellation terms are;
- the price on a real bookable date, not only the headline “from” price.
Official admission prices and opening hours come from the archaeological park’s own notices. They change with the season and on concert days, so we date every figure and the official site has the final say.
